About Amy Barudin, NP-C

Amy Barudin, FPA-NP-C, RN, MSN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Barudin Wellness, providing comprehensive health and wellness services to families in and around Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Amy studied at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, earning her Bachelor of Arts in communication science and rhetorical studies. Then, she enrolled at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, and earned her Master's of Science in nursing and subsequently her Family Nurse Practitioner degree.

After graduation, Amy served in various capacities, including inpatient pediatric nursing and ambulatory primary care. These experiences inspired her to open her own clinic –– a place where healthcare meets compassion.

Amy is a friendly and caring provider who works from a holistic and patient-centered treatment philosophy, emphasizing whole-body health and wellness. 

Patients from throughout the Chicagoland area visit Amy to receive various medical services, including weight management, mental health care, dermatology, and treatment for hormone imbalances. 

Instead of seeing as many people as possible, Amy sets limits on her patient base. That ensures she has enough time to truly understand each person’s needs and concerns. 

Rather than asking patients to visit an office for all their healthcare needs, Amy offers the majority of services via telemedicine appointments for people seeking efficient services.

Amy never rushes visits and makes time to develop personalized treatment plans. She incorporates functional medicine into her care philosophy, using food and movement as powerful healing modalities. 

Outside of work, Amy enjoys building on her professional skills and knowledge. She’s board-certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and regularly participates in continuing education.
